about

"Táágo Dez'á" (three points) written in 200 for singing cellist is in three sections.
1. ... like a chased animal
2. shy, for a singer "I am looking for my grandfather."
3. quiet, but proud (like singing at night)
Each section employs a different form of transmission, with song 1 composed primarily using graphics (and some western-style notation), that are to be interpreted by the performer. Song 2 is learned by ear (oral transmission) through a live recording included by Chacon. The performer is asked to make their own version. Song 3 is fully notated, using microtones where pitch and time are loose. The singer is asked to not use vibrato and to sing certain vocables and Navajo phrases.
